I am a TBR 3-Step Practitioner and Early Loss Practitioner. I offer support, compassionate care and a good trauma-informed listening ear. As an experienced accredited pluralistic counsellor who is registered with the National Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Society, I am well trained and providing guidance, Compassion and Hope as I walk with you on your journey
I believe my life experience has helped me gain a good knowledge, compassion, respect and listening. I have a background in nursing and care which has taught me many skills which are transferable to counselling. I have successful experience working with clients who have anxiety, low self-esteem, low confidence and depression. My hope is that I built a strong therapeutic connection with each of my clients. I hope to empower you, support and guide you through a difficult period in your life. I can work with you face-to-face or online if that makes you feel more comfortable
I keep my training updated constantly. I’ve recently completed courses in early loss and miscarriage and couples therapy which included domestic violence, substance issues and relationship and mental health issues within the marriage. I have some other skills which I will bring into the therapy room if needed- These include mindfulness techniques, meditation and inner child healing
I would like to tell you a little bit about me too. I am a wife, mum, grandmother and dog owner. I’m based in the Scottish borders and enjoy spending time outside walking in the forests I live beside. I enjoy listening to music, reading and going to the theatre.
