Perinatal anxiety and depression can convince pare

Perinatal anxiety and depression can convince parents that they should keep themselves to themselves, not trust others, and put on a brave face on, what is for many, a tough time.

But it can cause a lot of isolation and separation from other parents, from friends, from family.

And in this lonely place the only voice we have for company is the voice of anxiety.

And that voice often isn't very nice, it is harsh, it is punitive, it undermines our efforts, it drags us further down.

And of course none of it's true.

It's all just thought.

Thought spewed by an overly stressed, sleep deprived mind.
